The Snellville City Council on Monday unanimously agreed to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday as an official holiday.

Recount Completed: Results Unchanged
Thursday, November 8th, 2007The recount was completed this afternoon and the results did not change for the Mayor’s Race. Now we can move on as a city and accomplish the goals we all want to see happen here in Snellville.

As allowed by Georgia law, when an election is decided by less than 1% of the vote, the losing candidate my request a recount. Yesterday evening I learned that my opponent would be exercising this option.
